Haide

The Gobelsburger "Haide" counts to the best vineyard-locations in the Kamptal. That vineyard-location is situated at the highest point of Gobelsburg. The vines planted there, enjoy perfect solar-irradiation and the barren crushed stone-soil, which has developed during the glacial period, is responsible for the extraordinary mineralic type of the wines.

The Gobelsburger "Haide" provides perfect conditions for our red-wine-varieties Zweigelt and Cabernet Sauvignon, due to its mostly dry, fast warming soil. This vineyard location also suits perfectly to our Riesling, because the Riesling enormously benefits from the minerality of the ground.
